I have a bachelors degree in Arts with honours in Psychology. I also hold a masters degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also registered with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
I work for a not for profit organization in the AOD (alcohol and other drugs) and Corrections space. I also work as a group facilitator in a Men's Behaviour Change Program helping perpetrators of violence confront and change difficult patterns of behaviour. In these roles, specialising in behaviour change, I have come to understand that change happens when people are encouraged and supported in a non-judgemental space.
As a skilled and experienced worker in the field of behaviour change, I am accustomed to dealing with some of the most difficult life situations and existential concerns and able to respond to them with care, gentle guidance and evidence-based practice.
I am a host of the Brisbane Stoics and have been coordinating meetings and presenting for the Brisbane Stoics for the last two years. for further information or to get involved visit www.brisbanestoics.com
